Introduction: State of the State | Adriana Gascoigne | Girls in Tech Conference 2020
In her opening remarks, Adriana Gascoigne reminds us of the importance of stepping up, coming together, and taking action to make long-lasting change in the world. Together we can be the change we wish to see in the world. In this volatile environment, caused by the pandemic, the economic downturn, and the racial unrest in the U.S., Girls in Tech is here to fight for social justice, human rights, women's entrepreneurship, education and equitable capital funding.
“I’m asking all of you to be part of that change. If there’s one thing that 2020 has taught us is that through our collective actions we all make great significant and deeply meaningful changes in our economy & society.” - Adriana Gascoigne
