Why Diversity Matters | Raquel Tamez | Girls in Tech Conference 2020

Despite being 47% of the U.S. labor force, women occupy just 28% of all STEM jobs. Through programs like SHPEtinas: Igniting Latinas in STEM, and SHPE’s cornerstone community engagement program, Noche de Ciencias, the organization aims to spark and support innovation across industry by fueling diverse and inclusive organizational cultures with top talent.
