About the Job
We’re seeking a friendly, organized, go-getter to help with managing our 60+ chapters around the world. This would mean you’d be the point person for all chapter questions, launches, challenges, you name it. You’ll be working virtually alongside rockstar women in tech, leading Girls in Tech chapters everywhere, from Austin to London, from Singapore to Chicago. This means checking in with each chapter at least once a month, holding touch base meetings, quickly responding to their administrative questions and being a friendly champion they can count on if they have a problem, want to share a small victory or want to talk through a complex issue. Compensation for this role will be based on experience.
This position is full-time and located in the San Francisco Bay Area.
You’re all about the connections and the relationships! You’re a highly motivated self-starter with a phenomenal attitude. You’re comfortable working at a fast pace and in a team atmosphere. This position is located in the San Francisco Bay Area. You’re obsessed with planning ahead, using calendar apps and tools like Skype and instant messaging to form relationships with those who are located around the world. You’re great at following up, resourceful and find yourself brainstorming solutions to issues on the fly. You’ve got the spunk of a cheerleader after one too many energy drinks, organizing is FUN to you and you’re intrigued by other cultures.

Girls in Tech (GIT) is a global non-profit focused on the engagement, education and empowerment of girls and women who are passionate about technology. Adriana Gascoigne founded GIT in 2007 to create a support framework to help women advance their careers in STEM fields. The GIT mission is to accelerate the growth of innovative women entering the high-tech industry and building startups.
