Girls in Tech Rings the Bell at the New York Stock Exchange!

To say it’s been an incredible week is an understatement. On Tuesday, the Girls in Tech staff, managing directors, several Board members and other close supporters gathered at the New York Stock Exchange to ring the closing bell, an honor given to just a handful of non-profit organizations each year. Ringing the closing bell is selective, not just because of the limited number of opportunities each year, but because brands that hit the NYSE podium align with the values of the NYSE brand. We’re extremely humbled and honored to have been chosen for this once-in-a-lifetime experience!
2016 has been a phenomenal year for Girls in Tech, a year in which we’ve made great strides. We can’t think of a more meaningful high note on which to end the year. To add an additional layer of meaning and emotion, the bell ringing closely aligns with Girls in Tech’s official 10-year anniversary of founding, which happens in March, 2017.
To our members and supporters, we won’t let you down. We’ve come a long way and we plan to be here in another 10 years, and many more after that!
Relive the excitement with us by enjoying some of our favorite photos of the day.
