Today, we’re officially announcing our valued partnership with RocketSpace, a tech campus and ecosystem known for providing speed and direction to top startups – including 18 unicorns.
The partnership enables Girls in Tech’s top female-led startups to accelerate growth through RocketSpace’s tech campus and services. We’re proud to join forces with a company that values our commitment to increase diversity within the tech industry, particularly in leadership roles.
Here’s what this means: Not only is Girls in Tech’s headquarters now located at RocketSpace, but Girls in Tech female-led startups that meet RocketSpace’s admission criteria can also apply and become members. Admissions criteria includes: the startup must be in tech, must have seed to Series C funding and have a minimum viable product in market. Approved startups gain access to coveted services, such as mentorship, members-only workshops, investors and RocketSpace’s vast network of Fortune 1000 corporate innovation clients.
RocketSpace is taking the lead on diversity after seeing just 10 percent of their current startups led by females. Through access to coworking space, education, networking and more, RocketSpace believes they can move the dial on diversity by giving female-led startups the tools they need to succeed.
